All UK Universities development site currently under development working
on the statistics for the purchasing departments for Scotland , then
the UK, using a combination of Access, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript,
HTML, SQL.
An application written in partnership which allows the various
University Regions to download their particular database after
processing incoming data. Many reports automatically output and the
application is written in the main in a combination of VBA for
Access and the server in VBScript, and JavaScript.
The application is now being downloaded and installed across the
UK to improve buying power of the Universities from aggregate Access
databases with a base spend of around £8 billion. A very large
amount of SQL into Access databases was used in the production of
many reports individually geared to each of the 7 Regions. Creation
of a tool to automate process on the server relating to SQLServer
databases using SQL, aggregating such features as the top 1000 in
spend etc and an upload tool for databases for clients incorporating
ftp.
Web site applications involving HTML, XML, VBScript, JavaScript, Access
2000 for database, ASP, SQL technologies.
